Gov-Easy Customer Service Portal

The Building Department is pleased to announce the Gov-Easy Customer Service Portal will be live effective immediately. Please review the how-to tutorials listed below. Online payments are currently not accepted. We will provide updates as they become available.

Access Online Permitting Portal (Gov-Easy)

The Department is responsible for permit issuance and Florida Building Code-related plan review and inspections, which safeguard the public’s health, safety, and general welfare.

Permit Application Submittal Procedures

All permit applications must be submitted through the Gov-Easy Portal. Alternatively, applicants may submit an electronic link via email or provide a USB drive containing all required documents to Village Hall.

Payment of Permit Fees
Permit fees may now be paid directly through the Gov-Easy Portal using a credit card. In-person payments at Village Hall will continue to be accepted by check, money order, or cash.

Electronic Plan Submittal Requirements

  • Plans must be submitted as one PDF per trade, each containing valid digital signatures.
  • Supporting documents (e.g., calculations, NOA, or other required materials) must be submitted as separate PDFs, one file per booklet.

Submitting Plans with Digital Signatures

In Florida, engineering and architectural plans submitted electronically must be digitally signed and sealed by the responsible professional (engineer or architect). This digital signature must be unique to the individual, capable of verification, and linked to the document in a way that any alteration invalidates the signature and document. Furthermore, the digital signature must be obtained from a third-party certification authority, and not a self-authenticated method like those in Adobe Acrobat.

Please see below for the list of trusted agencies accepted by Indian Creek Village:
